Founded in 2021, MG Private Capital (“MGPC”) was established on a foundational belief in digital innovation. MGPC believes decentralized, blockchain finance is in its early stages and that investors have a right and responsibility to participate in the accelerating digital transformation of the global economy.
Through a long-biased, quantitative approach to cryptocurrency investing, our blockchain-agnostic strategy aims to generate consistent yield through cryptocurrency staking & market-making activities.
We supplement our market-making activities by opportunistically investing long and short, leveraging our flexible investment mandate & years of experience investing in cryptocurrency and broader digital asset markets.

At MG Private Capital, Brendan is a portfolio manager focused on the Fund’s DeFi investment strategy, blockchain research & development, and protocol risk management. Brendan sits as a treasury advisor to NewOrder DAO (NEWO), a decentralized incubator fund. Brendan previously worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Mason Moore
At MG Private Capital, Mason is a portfolio manager and leads fund operations. Mason assists with investment due diligence, applying fundamental valuation and technical analysis to prospective investments. Mason is focused on streamlining communication with LPs, enhancing operational efficiency, and conducting portfolio risk assessments. Mason previously worked for HSBC North America.
